Do you feel like you're constantly fighting against yourself, managing the weight of anxiety, carrying wounds from the past, or watching the same painful patterns repeat in your relationships? Maybe you're trying to make peace with your body, struggling with the emotional aftermath of trauma, or feeling like your emotions are running the show in ways that leave you exhausted. You don't have to keep doing this alone.
Hi, I'm Andie, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) specializing in trauma, anxiety, disordered eating, and relationship patterns. I believe that therapy isn’t about fixing you. It’s about understanding the experiences that have shaped how you move through the world, and learning new ways to meet yourself with curiosity and compassion.
I integrate a range of evidence-based approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman Method, somatic therapy, and trauma-informed approaches to tailor each session to your needs.
My background as a crisis counsellor, support group facilitator with Hopewell Eating Disorder Support, and a chat support volunteer with the National Eating Disorder Information Centre has shown me how profoundly healing genuine connection and emotional support can be when life feels overwhelming or hard to navigate. These experiences continue to shape how I show up in the therapy room, with empathy, respect, and a deep-rooted belief that you deserve to feel seen and understood.
You deserve a safe space that honours your unique story, moving you away from feeling stuck and toward a life that feels more grounded.
My approach is grounded in respect, authenticity, collaboration, and empowerment, allowing you to pave your own path while offering support and practical strategies along the way. Together, we will explore the patterns holding you back, build skills to manage overwhelming emotions, and create a more confident, connected relationship with yourself and others.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I find meaning in the little things, such as baking something sweet, walking in nature, or sharing a meal with loved ones.
Taking that first step can feel daunting, and I want to make it as easy as possible. I offer a free 15-20 minute consultation so we can connect and explore what support could look like for you.
