Established in 2017, Your Story Counselling is an award-winning psychotherapy practice located in York Region (Vaughan and Markham). We offer inclusive, multicultural, and culturally competent psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families — providing trauma-informed care, couples therapy, sex therapy, and relational therapy using a wide range of evidence-based approaches, including Art Therapy, Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Dialogic Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness Practices, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Somatic Experiencing.

We create a safe, non-judgmental space tailored to each person's unique story and identity. With sliding-scale low-cost options, multilingual clinicians, and both online and in-office sessions across Ontario, we are committed to making mental health care accessible to all.
