Therapist Intern

(Under the supervision of a Registered Psychotherapists)

Hi, I’m Wenyu, and I’m here to create a compassionate, supportive space where we can face life’s challenges together. I understand that finding the path forward isn’t always easy, especially when you’re carrying the load on your own. I believe that growth happens when we feel truly understood and valued.

My experience working with families, students, and individuals of all ages has taught me the power of patience, balance, and kindness as we navigate life’s ups and downs. I understand that meaningful change can feel challenging—but with supportive guidance, it becomes possible and profoundly empowering.

My practice is built on compassion, honesty, and active listening, creating a space to discover your strengths and feel grounded. Together, we’ll explore practical tools and new perspectives to help you meet your goals, whether they’re immediate needs or centred on long-term well-being.

I hold a Master of Education from the University of Hong Kong and am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. This educational journey, paired with hands-on experience, allows me to blend research-based knowledge with practical insights in our sessions. My approach is integrative, combining Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to foster resilience through mindful actions, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) to support self-kindness, and Narrative Therapy (NT) to help reshape your personal story in an empowering way.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy cooking and practicing yoga, which keeps me balanced and energized. My commitment to continual learning—through research, training, and fresh perspectives—brings new insights to my work with clients.

Taking that first step can feel big, and I’m here to make it as comfortable as possible. I offer a free 15-minute consultation, giving us the chance to connect and determine if we’re the right fit for your journey. I look forward to meeting you!

Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, “I will try again tomorrow.”
