Welcome! My name is Michelle and I’m so happy you’re here. We all come from different places and have had different experiences in our lives, and I am
happy to honour that and take that into account during our time in therapy. I believe our differences are what make us unique and special, and I’m happy to be able to collaborate with you with empathy, understanding, and without judgment.

I am a certified Perinatal Mental Health practitioner. As a mom of two boys, and I understand the many challenges that individuals and families face with regards to conception, pregnancy, and the postpartum period. I’ve been there, and I’m here now! My passion for working with new parents is strong, and I would love to help guide you through the many ups and downs of this period in your life, and beyond.

I also have training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness. I have worked with a wide variety of issues, including, but not limited to: Anxiety, depression, major life transitions, and people pleasing. My approach to therapy is strengths-based, and my goal is to create an empowering and safe space for you.

I aspire to help you find and capitalize on your strengths and will work to help you lead the life you want to lead.

With over multiple years of experience working with individuals and families. I am passionate about empowering my clients and helping them find their strengths. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and person-centered therapy. I am also trained in mindfulness techniques, which I can use to help clients manage stress and anxiety.

I believe that everyone has the potential to heal and grow. I create a safe and supportive space for my clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I work with my clients to identify their goals and develop strategies to achieve them. I am committed to providing my clients with the tools they need to live happier, healthier lives.

Here are some specific examples of how I can help my clients:

  • I can help clients with anxiety and depression by teaching them CBT skills, such as thought challenging and relaxation techniques.

  • I can help clients who are struggling with life transitions, such as divorce or job loss, by using narrative therapy to help them reframe their experiences and find new meaning.

  • I can help clients who are stuck in negative thought patterns or behaviors by using solution-focused therapy to help them identify and focus on their goals.

  • I can help clients who are dealing with emotional pain, such as grief or trauma, by using emotion-focused therapy to help them process their emotions and heal.

  • I can help clients who are looking for a more holistic approach to therapy by using mindfulness techniques to help them reduce stress, improve focus, and increase self-awareness.
