About Benjamin

Acknowledging that things are not ok is a brave first-step. First and foremost, I want you to know that you are not alone. Now let’s see if together we are a good fit to navigate these difficult thoughts, feelings, and events you’re experiencing. Many of my clients seek support with anxiety, depression, and trauma; and, with lived experience in the 2SLGBTQ+ community, I take pride in offering support for any related concerns.

With over a decade of experience working with children, youth, adults, and families in human services, I strive to create a positive and a non-judgemental space, where we can collaboratively come up with a plan to support you in overcoming and forging ahead with the life you want to live. I feel strongly that treatment is not a ‘one size fits all’ which is why I take an integrated framework, drawing upon various modalities of practice to individualize our work together to meet your needs.

In my downtime, you can find me outside in any season and (most) weather conditions, usually hiking with my dog George. Easy access to nature and quality time with family and friends are key elements for my own mental health and well-being.

I will be accepting clients for online appointments. As a practicum student, I will be seeing clients under the supervision of Judy Lui, Registered Psychotherapist.

“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
