Zahra Eizadi | Ontario online Trauma therapy, Couples therapy, and Sex therapy | Farsi Therapist, Persian Therapist, Middle E

Hello,  I'm Zahra, a registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Association of Consultations. Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP).

I have a masters in Clinical Psychology. As an international mental health clinician, I have experience helping individuals and couples from different cultural backgrounds and mental health conditions to deal with various conflicts. Part of my role has been as a facilitator of psycho-educational women groups and immigrants with traumatic experiences who have been stuck in their lives and have had a hard time integrating into the new community.

A combination of my clinical training in various approaches including Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Object Relation and Attachment theory has helped me develop an integrative approach guiding couples and individuals to identify and address dysfunctional coping strategies in their relationships and to replace them with constructive actions that will best fit their needs and goals.

Couples and individuals with low self-confidence, anxiety, depression, and difficulty managing and expressing their emotions will learn to modify and develop their perception of the conflicts to enhance their communication with their significant others and will be empowered to build a long-term secure relationship. Some of the couple issues I work with are marriage consultation, intimacy issues, infidelity, divorce, recovery from an abusive relationship and grief.

I can offer consultation sessions in English and Farsi and I would be glad to walk with you on your journey.

As a registered psychotherapist in Ontario. I have a master's degree in clinical psychology and I'm fluent in English and Farsi. I have experience working with individuals and couples from different cultural backgrounds and mental health conditions.

I'm trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Object Relations Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Sex Therapy. I use an integrative approach to therapy, which means that I tailor my treatment to the individual or couple's specific needs.

I believe that everyone has the capacity to heal and grow, and I'm here to help you reach your full potential. I offer a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I'm here to help you develop coping skills, improve your communication, and build stronger relationships.

If you're interested in working with me, please don't hesitate to reach out. I would be happy to answer any questions you have and schedule a free consultation.
