“... sooner or later she had to give up the hope for a better past.”

- Irvin Yalom

To be born into this world is to experience all that life has to offer. There is much to be excited about when one encounters what they deem to be positive experiences, which can bring joy, love, a sense of accomplishment, and a sense of purpose. Living, and being human, also means that throughout one’s life, they will also experience times when the opposite occurs. They will encounter events that result in feelings of anxiety, sadness, pain, loss, confusion, emptiness, or troubled relationships. Sometimes, these feelings and issues may even surface without a specific event or trigger, and a person simply finds themselves feeling “stuck”.

One can often work through life’s obstacles on their own, while at other times, they may feel that they have depleted their own resources and require some help to overcome their “stuckness”. When this happens, seeking help through therapy is a common step for many people. It is a step that can never be underestimated, as it conveys hope, strength, and demonstrates a wish to improve one’s well-being.

In my role as a psychotherapist, my wish is to work with you to help you navigate the challenges you are experiencing in your life. My hope is that our work together will help you, the way that my own experiences in therapy has helped me. To help you overcome your immediate life challenges, but to also bring you a new self-awareness, and more positive ways of relating to others and being in the world.

Please contact me for a free 15-minute consultation and for more information.
