Welcome, my name is Sukhmeet Brar and I am here for you. Often when we struggle with our mental health we feel trapped or stuck. I am here to remind you with this beautiful quote “Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start." — Nido Qubein. I am proud of you today for taking the time out to find yourself the best support and to get yourself one step closer to a happier and healthier you.
I am a second-generation South Asian immigrant and I understand the stigma associated with mental health issues. This stigma motivated me to learn and gain experience with mental health disorders to help those struggling. I want to provide you with a safe space where you can express your thoughts and feelings. I want to help my clients feel empowered and self-aware through our collaborative work together. I believe that we all have the strength to fight our battles and I want to help you bring out that inner strength. The space we will share will be a judgment-free space where all are welcome. I will utilize modalities such as narrative therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and a strength-based approach. I want to collaboratively develop a space where you can be comfortable and be yourself. Your experiences matter, your feelings matter, your thoughts matter, and your story matters. Contact me for a free consultation today and we can take a step forward in your self-empowering journey.
“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start."
— Nido Qubein.
