Life is hard sometimes! My name is Josée and I understand the many daily challenges we can be faced with relating to work, children, parents, relationships and our health as I have gone through all of them at some point myself.

 

It might sometimes feel like you are the only one experiencing these struggles but trust me you are not.

I’d like to help you through the challenges of life that cause us anxiety, stress, and depression and at times, lead us to do things we regret like get into arguments, bury our heads in the sand or use substances to cope. I am here to listen to your story and provide you with some direction on how to work through those tough times. I provide a non-judgmental environment where I can help you to identify your qualities, existing resources, and individual strengths to overcome barriers.

I am an energetic, determined and mature individual with over twenty years of experience in the social science field. Although I have heard so many stories of hardship, I love to learn about each and every client I work with as everyone’s story is unique.  I have worked extensively with good people struggling to make good choices, poor problem solvers, and individuals with problematic lifestyles. I enjoy working with clients of various ages, cultures, and religions and can also provide services in French.

I have strong family ties and enjoy both athletic and creative activities in my spare time. I am currently accepting clients for online appointments only. As a qualifying psychotherapist, I will be supervised by our clinical director Judy Lui. I look forward to meeting you!
