With extensive international experience, complimented by her emotional sensitivity, she excels at working with diverse groups with cultural humility and compassion.
She brings a wealth of knowledge and an established history of making positive changes in the lives of others, her community and people around the globe through two decades of experience as a teacher, coach and journalist.
Equipped with some of the best evidence- based approaches in psychotherapy including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), EFIT (Emotionally focused individual therapy), MSC (Mindfulness Self-compassion) and CBT there is nothing that gives her more joy than seeing her clients transform, face their fears, heal, and live the life they once thought was impossible. She is a fierce advocate for vulnerable demographics and will work with them skillfully until they are able to tap into and develop their inner resilience and sense of well-being to reach their goals.
Note to her future clients:
Taking the first steps to see a therapist is one of the most courageous acts anyone can take. Nothing is wrong with you to do this, but rather everything is right with you to take this step. In my own life, it was one of the hardest and best decisions I ever made. I am not above you or below you. I am simply an advocate that will be with you in this journey, to walk with to where you want to go and help you get there. What an honour that is and what a privilege I have to do this together. I believe in you! Let’s do this ☺
"There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn't."
